Hōm (pronounced "Home") by Root VR brings elements of our platform of virtual reality tools supporting teen and family wellness to home, school, or wherever they’re needed in a VR-enabled app for iOS! Learn and practice powerful techniques like guided imagery, deep breathing, positive affirmation, and more while building a personal toolbox of skills to help manage stress, relax, and find gratitude in everyday life.

With our first publicly available experience, Hōm by Root VR helps users experience the life of a peaceful butterfly, gently floating through a beautiful forest landscape and enjoying the sweet nectars of nature’s generous bounty. Currently available modes include:

+ Mobile VR* mode for a truly immersive virtual experience
+ 360 Theater mode providing a user-controlled view of the full, panoramic scene
+ Audio-Only mode for finding peace in those hard-to-find places

Additional experiences coming soon!

Notes: Requires iPhone 6s and iOS 9 or newer. To maximize the quality of the experience, this app requires Wi-Fi to download.

Crafted with care by Root VR, a company devoted to building a future rooted in hope.

*Mobile VR mode requires compatible phone-based VR headset or viewing device. While any cardboard-style VR headset should work, for the best experience we recommend using a headset with adjustable lenses, many of which are easily found on major online and brick-and-mortar retailers worldwide.
